Lana Del Rey is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of her generation. After beginning her music career in New York, she broke through in 2011 with her viral hit “Video Games” and went on to achieve mainstream success with her major-label debut album, Born to Die, in 2012. The record spawned fan-favorite tracks including “Blue Jeans,” “Born to Die” and “National Anthem” and helped establish her signature cinematic sound.
She continued to build a devoted fanbase with albums such as Ultraviolence, Honeymoon, Lust for Life, Norman F**ing Rockwell!*, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, Blue Banisters and Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. Along the way, she earned critical acclaim for songs like “Young and Beautiful,” which was featured on the 2013 The Great Gatsby soundtrack.
