Tom Holland and Zendaya are one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples. Here are the best photos of the ‘Spider-Man’ co-stars.
Zendaya and Tom Holland met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming back in 2016. The duo became close friends while playing classmates in the movie. They danced together in their downtime, making fun little videos, and that turned into an all-out performance when the duo battled on the Lip Sync Battle television show, with Tom performing Rihanna‘s “Umbrella,” and Zendaya performing Bruno Mars‘ “24k Magic,” both dressing as the original respective singer.
For years, the pair maintained they were just friends even as fans speculated. In 2021, however, the pair publicly confirmed their romance. Three years later, reports emerged that Tom proposed during the December 2024 holidays. Neither star directly addressed the engagement at the time, but speculation intensified when Zendaya was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand at the 2025 Golden Globes and when Tom subtly referred to her as his “fiancée” in a 2025 interview.
In early 2026, new chatter surfaced about their relationship when longtime stylist Law Roach suggested on the red carpet at the Actor Awards that the couple may have already gotten married in private, saying “you missed it” and later confirming it was “very true.” However, neither Zendaya nor Tom has officially confirmed an engagement announcement or shared that they are married themselves, and their representatives have not issued a formal statement.
Despite their hectic schedules, Tom and Zendaya continue to support one another both personally and professionally. In September 2025, Zendaya joined Tom at The Brothers Trust Posh Pub Quiz charity event in London, where he served as host. The appearance came just as Tom resumed filming the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Brand New Day, slated for release in July 2026, with Zendaya reprising her role as MJ.
