Daisy Edgar-Jones is an English actress born on May 24, 1998, who rose to international fame with her breakout role in the acclaimed 2020 series Normal People. Since then, she has starred in films and television projects including Fresh, Where the Crawdads Sing, Under the Banner of Heaven, War of the Worlds, Twisters and On Swift Horses. She has also earned nominations for major awards including a Golden Globe Award and a British Academy Television Award.
Before launching her acting career, Edgar-Jones attended The Mount School for Girls and Woodhouse College before training with the National Youth Theatre. One of her earliest television appearances came in the 2016 Outnumbered Christmas special, and she has steadily built one of Hollywood’s fastest-rising careers ever since.
