Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt became one of reality television’s most recognizable couples after meeting during the early days of MTV’s The Hills. Their whirlwind romance, dramatic on-screen moments, and highly publicized 2008 marriage quickly turned “Speidi” into a pop culture phenomenon. Over the years, the pair continued appearing on reality shows together, including Celebrity Big Brother, Marriage Boot Camp, and The Hills: New Beginnings.
Outside of television, Heidi pursued music and beauty ventures while Spencer built a large social media following with his crystal obsession, commentary videos, and online personality. Despite years of public scrutiny and breakup rumors, the couple have remained together and expanded their family, welcoming sons Gunner in 2017 and Ryker in 2022.
In recent years, Heidi and Spencer have remained in headlines after losing their Pacific Palisades home in the devastating 2025 California wildfires. Spencer has also drawn attention for his outspoken social media presence and his 2026 Los Angeles mayoral campaign.
