Brendan Fraser is the proud papa of three great sons. Take a look at the three boys who have made ‘The Whale’ star’s life worth living.
“Having kids makes your life better, plain and simple,” Brendan Fraser said in 2008 — and the Oscar-winning actor has continued to put family at the center of his life ever since. Best known for starring in films like The Mummy, George of the Jungle, Encino Man and Airheads, Fraser became a father in 2002 when he and his then-wife, Afton Smith, welcomed their first son, Griffin. The former couple later expanded their family with sons Holden in 2004 and Leland in 2006 before divorcing in 2008.
Over the years, Fraser has spoken openly about parenting Griffin, who is on the autism spectrum, and the close bond he shares with all three of his sons. His children have occasionally joined him during major moments in his Hollywood comeback, including appearances tied to his Oscar-winning performance in The Whale.
Most recently, Fraser made a rare public appearance with sons Holden and Leland at the New York premiere of his 2026 film Pressure. Holden has also stepped into the fashion world in recent years, appearing in campaigns and runway shows for major designers including Todd Snyder and Hermès.
