Lainey Wilson has solidified her status as one of country music’s most influential women. The Louisiana native first broke out in 2019 and has continued to dominate the charts and awards shows. Over time, her fashion sense has evolved too, with frequent appearances in crop tops, high-waisted pants, and her signature bell-bottoms mixing country flair and modern style.
In recent months, Wilson has celebrated major career milestones. She hosted the 59th Annual CMA Awards solo — making her only the third woman in history to do so, following Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire. On top of that, she continues to rack up nominations and wins: at the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards she took home Entertainer of the Year for a second straight year, plus Female Artist and Album of the Year. Lainey scored another major milestone: she earned six nominations for the upcoming 2025 CMA Awards, tying for the most of any artist this year.
Offstage, Lainey has shared exciting personal news — she’s engaged to former NFL quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges, whom she’s been dating since 2021. The couple announced their engagement in early 2025 and later laughed off rumors of a secret wedding, clarifying that they haven’t tied the knot yet.
