Priscilla Presley, born May 24, 1945, remains a prominent figure in American pop culture nearly five decades after the death of her ex-husband, Elvis Presley. She met the music icon in 1959 at just 14 years old while living in Germany with her military family during Elvis’s service. The two began living together in 1963 and married in 1967 when Priscilla was 21. They welcomed one child, the late Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away in 2023.
Beyond her ties to the King of Rock and Roll, Priscilla carved out her own legacy as a savvy businesswoman and actress. She co-founded Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE), helping transform Graceland into one of America’s top tourist destinations. On screen, she became known for her role in Dallas and her appearances alongside Leslie Nielsen in the Naked Gun comedy films.
